susanTsgarkis1 239x300 Susan Tsagkaris Dramatic Soprano Hailed for her dramatic voice of considerable size, extensive range, and coloratura flexibility, Susan Tsagkaris (tsa-KAR-iss) first received recognition when she was paired with Ben Heppner in the Opera Canada Gala at George Weston Recital Hall in North York.  There they performed the final duet from ANDREA CHENIER.  With the Canadian Opera Company, she appeared as Despina in COSI FAN TUTTE, Polly Peachum in THE BEGGAR’S OPERA, and Jessie in The Little Mahogany Songspiel. She has also toured with the COC in leading roles in LA BOHÈME, LA TRAVIATA, and LA CENERENTOLA.
